Interstate 78 and Route 22 run through the Lehigh Valley and provide easy access to New York on the East and Harrisburg, Pittsburg and the West. Route 309 and 476 provide easy access to the Philadelphia metro areas, and Route 33 provides access to the Pocono resorts. The Lehigh Valley is also home to the third largest airport in Pennsylvania - Lehigh Valley International Airport. Recreation. The Lehigh Valley is home to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom bringing visitors from the tri-state area and beyond. You'll find plenty of golf courses, museums, and an incredible park system.
